- Construction Inspector
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities including providing construction inspection for municipal construction projects in various locations in Southwest Washington. In 2025, work will include projects in the Adna, Boistfort, Kalama, Cathlamet, and Long Beach areas. Duties include field observation, verifying conformance with plans and specifications, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication between the contractor, owner, and engineer. Construction projects may include utility, pump station, reservoir, or roadway projects. This position could be either full-time or on a project-to-project basis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- 5+ years’ experience in water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, or transportation construction or inspection
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well with others in a collaborative manner.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $35/hr – $50/hr, depending upon experience. Full time employees are also eligible for benefits including 8 paid holidays, paid time off, year-end bonus, 401K retirement plan (with employer profit-sharing contribution), medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance.
