Electrical Engineer

Primary responsibilities include the design of electrical power and control systems for municipal water and wastewater pumping and treatment facilities.  Duties include completion of design calculations and preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.  Duties also include providing assistance during construction including responding to contractor requests for information, review of submittals, and start-up and testing.  This is a great opportunity for a qualified and motivated candidate to be part of a collaborative electrical design group that works directly with civil, structural and process designers to complete public works projects throughout Washington State. 


  • 4-year Electrical Engineering degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in low voltage power distribution (600 VAC or less), electrical, and controls
  • Professional Engineer License preferred
  • Familiarity with relay logic and control panel wiring diagrams
  • Familiarity with motor starter logic and wiring diagrams
  • Able to work well with others in a collaborative manner. 


We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The anticipated salary range for this position (including year-end bonus) is $100,000 to $150,000, depending upon experience.  Benefits include 401K retirement plan (with employer profit-sharing contribution), medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 8 paid holidays and paid time off starting at 15 days per year.
