Doug is a principal in the firm and joined G&O in 1994.  He has over 30 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering.  His experience includes all facets of wastewater collection and treatment system projects, from planning and preliminary engineering through final design and construction management.  He also spent nearly 2 years as a guest researcher in Sweden conducting research on the dynamic modeling of large-scale wastewater treatment facilities.  Doug was the Project Engineer for the City of Puyallup Water Pollution Control Facility Improvements; the Douglas County Sewer District No. 1 Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvements, East Wenatchee, Washington;  the City of Sumner Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades Phase I and II; the City of Camas Wastewater Treatment Facility (Phase 1) Improvements; the Pe Ell WWTP Upgrade; the Fort Lewis Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvements; the Sunnyside MBR Wastewater Treatment Facilities for the Lake Stevens Sewer District; and the Willapa Regional WWTP for the Cities of Raymond and South Bend.
