Reservoir No 2 & Water System Improvements

The City of Mabton’s Reservoir No. 2 and Water System Improvements project included the design and construction of a 151-foot tall, 35-ft diameter welded steel drinking water reservoir with a nominal capacity of 1,000,000 gallons.

In addition to the welded steel reservoir and associated foundation, piping, lighting, and coatings, this project included modifications to the existing Reservoir No. 1, a new chlorination system for the water system, a new water system control panel, a generator for Well No. 5, and additional improvements necessary to keep both reservoirs operational at different operating levels. The
project was funded by CDBG, DWSRF, and USDA RD.
